Job SummaryThe Commis 1 is responsible for independently managing a section, supporting the Chef de Partie, and ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen discipline.

• Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently prepare and present Continental dishes
• Manage assigned section during service
• Guide and supervise Commis 2 & 3
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and plating
• Monitor food wastage and portion control
• Follow kitchen SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards
• Assist CDP/Sous Chef in menu execution and prep planning
• Requirements3–5 years experience in Continental kitchen
• Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques
• Leadership and team-handling skills
• Ability to work long hours and shifts
