Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction site activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the construction project runs smoothly on time, and within budget. The role requires a strong understanding of construction blueprints, effective management of contractors, and the ability to procure construction materials at competitive prices.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Accurately interpret and implement construction blueprints, ensuring all work is performed according to the specified designs and standards.

·        Supervise and manage contractors on-site, ensuring they perform their tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of workmanship.

·        Regularly update the owners on the daily progress of the construction project, highlighting any issues or delays.

·        Oversee all activities on the construction site, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and quality standards are maintained.

·        Visit various suppliers to inquire about prices for construction materials, negotiate the best prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.

·        Inspect the work performed by contractors to ensure it meets the required quality standards and adheres to the blueprints.

·        Utilize tools such as auto station or total station to verify that all measurements are accurate and in line with the project specifications.

Qualifications:

·        Proven experience as a Civil Site Supervisor in the construction industry.

·        Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, and experience with measurement tools.

·        Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage contractors and liaise with suppliers.

·        Strong attention to detail to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.

·        Ability to identify potential issues on-site and implement effective solutions.

Education:

·        Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
