JOB DESCRIPTION

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (CRM)Company New Tech India / Katha Furnishings

(Hyderabad | Window blinds, curtains, wallpapers, furnishing components & interior solutions)

ROLE PURPOSE To act as the single point of contact for customers by handling office phone calls, updating customers on stock availability, order status, and resolving daily queries — while maintaining accurate CRM records and strong customer relationships.


This role is critical to customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1️⃣ OFFICE PHONE & CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION (CORE RESPONSIBILITY)Handle all incoming office calls professionally
  • Understand customer requirement clearly
  • Respond to queries regarding:
  • Stock availability
  • Product details
  • Pricing (as per approved rates)
  • Delivery timelines
  • Ensure no call or enquiry is ignored

📌 This person represents the face & voice of the company

2️⃣ STOCK AVAILABILITY & ORDER UPDATES Check stock availability with store / system

  • Update customers honestly and clearly
  • Inform customers about:
  • Available items
  • Expected restock dates
  • Alternative options (if stock not available)

❗ Never commit false timelines

  • 3️⃣ CRM TOOL & CUSTOMER DATA MANAGEMENT Maintain CRM / Google Sheet with:
  • Customer details
  • Enquiry history
  • Orders placed
  • Follow-up notes
  • Update data daily without delay
  • Ensure accuracy of records
  • 4️⃣ CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP BUILDING Maintain regular contact with:
  • Dealers
  • Tailors
  • Blind manufacturers
  • Interior designers
  • Build trust through:
  • Timely updates
  • Polite communication
  • Problem-solving attitude

📌 Goal: Repeat orders & long-term relationships

  • 5️⃣ ISSUE RESOLUTION & COORDINATION Handle daily challenges like:
  • Delayed orders
  • Stock mismatch
  • Customer complaints
  • Coordinate with:
  • Sales team
  • Store
  • Production / purchase team
  • Escalate issues to owner when required

6️⃣ DAILY & WEEKLY REPORTING Provide simple updates:

  • Daily:
  • Calls handled
  • Enquiries received
  • Issues pending
  • Weekly:
  • Customer feedback
  • Common problems
  • Repeat customer activity

SKILLS REQUIREDMUST-HAVE✔ Clear communication (English + Hindi / telugu)
