Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities Perform HVAC load calculations (Heating & Cooling) using software like HAP, TRACE 700, or similar tools
• Design HVAC systems including ducting, piping, ventilation, and chilled water systems
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD / Revit / BIM
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, Chillers, VRF systems, etc.)
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, NBC, and local building codes
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and tender documents
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during installation
• Review contractor drawings and ensure quality standards
• Optimize designs for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–6 years of experience in HVAC design
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles and heat load calculations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, or similar HVAC design software
• Understanding of ASHRAE standards and local regulations
• Good communication and coordination skills
