JOB DESCRIPTION

As the WordPress Web Developer responsible for company website maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the website's functionality, performance, and overall user experience. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to implement updates, optimize web content, and provide a seamless online experience for our clients and visitors. Your technical expertise in WordPress development and attention to detail will be instrumental in representing our brand effectively on our website.

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and manage WordPress development projects from concept to completion.

Website Maintenance:

1.Regularly update and maintain the company website, ensuring content accuracy and relevancy using WordPress.

2.Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions, campaigns, and new content.

3.Address website bugs or problems related to themes, plugins, or hosting environments.

Theme and Plugin Management:

1.Manage WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring they are up-to-date and compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

2.Install, configure, and customize plugins to enhance website functionality as needed.

Performance Optimization:

1.Monitor website performance and proactively identify and address any issues affecting speed or usability.

2.Optimize website loading times and user interface for an optimal user experience.

Content Management:

1.Ensure all website content (text, images, videos, etc.) is up-to-date and aligned with the company's branding.

2.Update website pages, blog posts, and other content as needed.

Bug Fixes and Troubleshooting:

1.Troubleshoot and resolve any website-related issues or bugs that arise.

2.Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functionality and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

1.Implement SEO best practices to improve the website's search engine rankings and organic traffic.

2.Optimize website metadata, tags, and content for relevant keywords.

Mobile Responsiveness:

1.Ensure the website is fully responsive and functions flawlessly on various mobile devices.

Security and Compliance:

1.Implement security measures to protect the website from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

2.Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and web accessibility standards.

Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

•Proven work experience as a WordPress Web Developer, preferably with experience in website maintenance.

•Experience with Elementor is mandatory.

•Experience in HubSpot Integration.

•Experience in converting Figma to website design.

•Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin management.

•Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

•Experience with web performance optimization and SEO best practices.

•Strong understanding of web design principles and responsive web design techniques.

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.

•Knowledge of web security best practices is a plus.
