Job Title - Housekeeping Incharge/ Supervisor/ Executive

Job Summary -

The Housekeeping Incharge is responsible for ensuring hospital-wide cleanliness, infection control compliance, hygiene standards, biomedical waste segregation support, and overall environmental safety. The role ensures patient areas, critical care zones, OTs, public spaces, and back-end service areas are maintained as per NABH and infection control protocols.

The position directly impacts patient experience, hospital accreditation standards, and safety outcomes.

• Key Responsibilities
• Supervise housekeeping staff and manage shift deployment.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness in IP, OP, ER, ICU, OT, and public areas.
• Monitor biomedical waste segregation and infection control compliance.
• Ensure room readiness within defined turnaround time.
• Handle cleanliness-related complaints within TAT.
• Control housekeeping material usage and prevent wastage.
• Coordinate with Nursing, Infection Control, and Operations teams.
• Ensure safety practices in chemical handling and floor management.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate preferred
• 5+ years in hospital housekeeping
• Exposure to NABH standards preferred
