Key Roles & Responsibilities of IT Support

• Provide technical assistance to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, operating systems, and applications.
• Perform regular system updates and patches.
• Assist employees with login issues, password resets, and software usage.
• Provide guidance on IT policies and best practices.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
• Troubleshoot network-related problems.
• Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Replace or repair faulty hardware.
• Ensure systems follow security policies.
• Install antivirus software and monitor for security threats.
• Maintain records of issues, solutions, and system configurations.
• Update IT support documentation and knowledge base.
• Perform data backups and assist with data recovery when needed.
