IT Support & Operations Technician

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support & Operations Technician who can manage data operations, handle printer installations, and support basic networking tasks. This role involves both office-based work and field visits to schools and institutions.

You will play a key role in implementing and supporting our Skolors platform along with hardware installations like ID card printers and access systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data & System Operations

• Upload and manage student data using Excel/CSV files
• Clean, format, and validate large datasets
• Generate reports and assist in ID card data processing
• Coordinate with internal teams for data accuracy

2. Printer Installation & Support

• Install and configure ID card printers (Evolis or similar)
• Handle printer drivers, calibration, and troubleshooting
• Manage consumables like ribbons and cards
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs

3. Networking & Technical Support

• Set up and troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi connections
• Connect devices (printers, systems) to network
• Diagnose basic internet and connectivity issues
• Support on-site technical setups

4. Field Work & Client Support

• Visit schools for installation, demo, and support
• Assist clients in using systems and resolving issues
• Maintain service reports and installation logs

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering)
• Understanding of computer systems and file handling
• Basic knowledge of networking (LAN, IP, Wi-Fi)
• Familiarity with printer installation and troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Good communication skills (basic English/Telugu/Hindi)
• Ability to work independently and in the field

Eligibility Criteria

• ITI / Diploma / Any technical background
• Freshers can apply (training will be provided)
• Prior experience in hardware, networking, or printer support is a plus
