Logistics Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the distribution, transportation, and supply chain operations for our bakery/FMCG products. The role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and product quality while managing inventory and coordinating with production and sales teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage end-to-end logistics operations for bakery/FMCG products

Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely dispatch of fresh goods

Oversee transportation, route planning, and delivery schedules

Manage warehouse operations including storage, inventory, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)

Monitor cold chain (if applicable) to maintain product quality

Optimize logistics costs and improve efficiency

Track shipments and resolve delivery issues promptly

Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards

Maintain accurate logistics records and reports

Manage relationships with transport vendors and distributors

Lead and supervise logistics staff and drivers

🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field

5+ years of experience in logistics (preferably in bakery/FMCG industry)

🚚 Preferred Experience

Experience handling perishable goods (bakery items)

Knowledge of cold chain logistics

Experience in high-volume, fast-paced FMCG environments

📍 Work Environment

Warehouse and office-based role

May require early morning or late evening coordination due to bakery production cycles
