Placement Coordinator

1. Liaison Between Students and Recruiters

Serve as the primary point of contact between students, faculty, and companies.

2. Organizing Campus Recruitment Drives

Coordinate with HR teams to schedule campus interviews.

Arrange logistics such as venue booking, seating arrangements, and technical requirements.

Ensure the smooth flow of pre-placement talks (PPTs), aptitude tests, group discussions, and interviews.

3. Student Preparation & Support

Organize training sessions, workshops, and mock interviews.

Share tips and resources for resume building and interview skills.

Maintain and update student profiles and resumes in placement databases.

4. Data Management

Maintain accurate records of student eligibility, participation, and selection status.

Prepare placement statistics and reports for management and accreditation bodies.

5. Company Engagement

Build and maintain long-term relationships with companies for recurring placement opportunities.

Approach potential recruiters and invite them for campus placements.

6. Compliance & Communication

Ensure students meet the criteria set by companies before interviews.

Communicate placement rules, policies, and schedules clearly to students.

7. Event Coordination

Handle event timelines to ensure there are no delays in recruitment processes.

Provide on-the-spot solutions during campus drives.

8. Feedback & Improvement

Collect feedback from recruiters and students to improve placement activities.

Suggest skill development programs based on industry needs.
