Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for our bakery/FMCG operations. The role involves sourcing quality raw materials (flour, sugar, dairy, packaging, etc.), negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining uninterrupted supply for production.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials and packaging for bakery/FMCG products

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to optimize costs

Ensure timely procurement to support continuous production

Maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stock-outs or overstocking

Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks

Ensure quality standards and compliance with food safety regulations

Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams

Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies

Maintain purchase records, documentation, and reports

Handle vendor performance evaluation and relationship management

🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of experience in purchasing (preferably in bakery/FMCG industry)

Experience in sourcing bakery ingredients (flour, yeast, dairy, etc.)

Knowledge of perishable goods procurement

Exposure to bulk purchasing and contract management
