Position: Quantity Surveyor

Department: Cost & Contracts / Project Management

Experience: 5+ years in villa/residential construction

Location: Office / Project Site

Reporting To: Project Manager / Director

Overview

Manage project costing, quantity estimation, contractor billing, and cost control for villa projects. Ensure completion within budget, contracts, and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs, BOQ, and cost estimates from drawings; update for revisions.
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, identify overruns, and recommend controls.
• Verify contractor bills/RA bills, site measurements, and prepare payment certificates per contracts.
• Track material consumption (cement, steel, etc.), reconcile usage, and report wastage.
• Review contracts, handle variations, and coordinate with site engineers, architects, consultants, and procurement.
• Maintain reports: BOQ, billing records, measurement books, material reconciliations, monthly costs, and variations.

Required Skills

• Expertise in quantity takeoff, BOQ, villa construction, Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical skills, cost control, and construction materials knowledge.

Qualification

B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• BOQ/billing accuracy.
• Cost control and budget adherence.
• Documentation quality and team coordination.
