Job Description
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales and revenue management strategies to achieve resort sales and occupancy goals.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Be responsible for achieving specific sales targets and overall resort revenue goals.
- Market Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key clients, including corporate clients and event planners, to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align promotional strategies, execute campaigns, and maximize exposure for resort offerings.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales performance, prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring they align with the resort's revenue goals.
- Upselling and Cross-selling:
- Identify opportunities to upsell services and cross-sell resort packages to guests.
- Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high performance and accountability.
Broader Resort Management Context
While sales is a crucial component, the Resort Manager's role also encompasses many other areas, including:
- Operations:
- Overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and coordinating with various departments.
- Should possess minimum experience as FOE or FOA
- Financial Management:
- Creating and managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring the resort's financial performance aligns with goals.
- Guest Experience:
- Developing strategies to improve guest satisfaction, ensuring excellent customer service, and handling guest complaints.
- Staff Management:
- Recruiting, training, and managing resort staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensuring the resort complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
