Resort Manager

• Roles & Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement effective sales and revenue management strategies to achieve resort sales and occupancy goals. 
• Sales Target Achievement:
• Be responsible for achieving specific sales targets and overall resort revenue goals. 
• Market Analysis:
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. 
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key clients, including corporate clients and event planners, to encourage repeat business and loyalty. 
• Sales & Marketing Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align promotional strategies, execute campaigns, and maximize exposure for resort offerings. 
• Sales Reporting and Analysis:
• Track sales performance, prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement. 
• Contract Negotiation:
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring they align with the resort's revenue goals. 
• Upselling and Cross-selling:
• Identify opportunities to upsell services and cross-sell resort packages to guests. 
• Sales Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high performance and accountability. 

Broader Resort Management Context

While sales is a crucial component, the Resort Manager's role also encompasses many other areas, including:

• Operations:
• Overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and coordinating with various departments. 
• Should possess minimum experience as FOE or FOA
• Financial Management:
• Creating and managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring the resort's financial performance aligns with goals. 
• Guest Experience:
• Developing strategies to improve guest satisfaction, ensuring excellent customer service, and handling guest complaints. 
• Staff Management:
• Recruiting, training, and managing resort staff to foster a high-performance culture. 
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensuring the resort complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
