Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager – Real Estate

Department: Sales

Reporting To: Sales Head / Project Head / Business Development Head

Location: Project Site / Corporate Office

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Sales Manager – Real Estate is responsible for driving sales performance, managing client relationships, leading the sales team, and achieving revenue targets for assigned real estate projects. The role requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to close high-value property deals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
  • Conduct property presentations and site visits for prospective clients.
  • Manage client meetings, negotiations, and finalize bookings/closures.
  • Ensure timely collection of booking amounts and follow-up on payments.

2. Lead Management & Conversion

  • Handle incoming leads from marketing campaigns, portals, referrals, and walk-ins.
  • Ensure regular follow-ups and maintain high lead-to-booking conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate lead data and sales pipeline updates in CRM systems.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team KPIs.
  • Conduct daily sales huddles and weekly performance review meetings.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Monitor productivity, reporting, and discipline within the team.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong and long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Address client queries, resolve concerns, and provide complete documentation support.
  • Assist customers with booking formalities, agreements, and coordination with internal teams.

5. Market Research & Sales Strategy

  • Study competitor projects, pricing, offers, and market trends.
  • Develop effective sales strategies and execution plans for project success.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities and campaigns.

6. Channel Partner / Broker Management (If Applicable)

  • Build and maintain a strong network of brokers and channel partners.
  • Organize channel partner meets, training sessions, and engagement activities.
  • Ensure regular partner communication to generate consistent lead flow.

 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle high-pressure targets and deliver results.
  • Strong customer handling and relationship-building skills.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Good understanding of local real estate market dynamics.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (LeadSquared, Salesforce, NoBroker CRM, etc.).

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in real estate sales (Residential/Commercial).
  • Experience in team handling and project sales will be an advantage.

Work Schedule / Job Timings

  • Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Weekends working (as per real estate industry norms).
