Security Management

Position: Security & House Manager (Villa)

Job Purpose

To ensure the safety, security, smooth operation, and daily management of the villa, including supervision of staff, maintenance, and coordination with owners/guests.

SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure 24/7 security of the villa, residents, guests, and property
• Monitor and control entry & exit of visitors, staff, and vehicles
• Supervise security guards (if any) and prepare duty rosters
• Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems
• Conduct daily security patrols of the villa premises
• Handle emergency situations (theft, fire, medical emergencies) calmly and promptly
• Coordinate with local police, fire services, and emergency contacts
• Maintain a visitor logbook and incident reports
• Ensure security SOPs are followed at all times

HOUSE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping & Staff Supervision

• Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, gardeners, drivers, cooks, helpers
• Assign daily tasks and ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Train staff on discipline, behavior, and safety protocols
• Manage staff attendance and performance

Maintenance & Utilities

• Oversee villa maintenance (electrical, plumbing, AC, generator, solar, water systems)
• Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and servicing
• Ensure proper functioning of:
• Power backup (DG / inverter / solar)
• Water supply systems
• CCTV & security systems
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records

Inventory & Supplies

• Manage household inventory (cleaning materials, groceries, consumables)
• Track stock levels and place orders when required
• Prevent wastage and misuse of resources

GUEST & OWNER COORDINATION

• Act as single point of contact for villa owners and guests
• Prepare the villa before owner or guest arrival
• Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and security
• Handle special requests professionally

ADMINISTRATION & REPORTING

• Maintain daily activity reports and security logs
• Report incidents, repairs, or staff issues to the owner/management
• Ensure compliance with local laws and safety norms
• Handle petty cash (if assigned) responsibly

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in villa management, estate management, or security services
• Strong discipline, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and security systems
• Ability to handle emergencies and confidential matters
• Good communication skills (local language + basic English preferred)
• Physically fit and alert

WORKING CONDITIONS

·        Full-time role (often stay-in preferred)

·        On-call during emergencies

IDEAL BACKGROUND (PREFERRED)

• Ex-serviceman / retired defense / police / security professional
• Prior experience managing private villas, resorts, or estates
