Senior Accountant

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain and monitor general ledger entries.

• Record daily transactions including sales, purchase, expenses, and payments.

• Ensure accurate posting of journal entries.

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Create MIS reports for management (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Conduct financial analysis and variance reports.

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).

• Handle TDS calculations, returns, and reconciliation.

• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC, and company policies.

4. Cash Flow & Budgeting

• Monitor day-to-day cash flow and recommend improvements.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Manage vendor payments and expense control.

5. Internal Controls

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls.

• Maintain proper documentation of financial records.

• Ensure timely closing of monthly and yearly accounts.

6. Team Coordination

• Guide junior accountants and oversee their work.

• Coordinate with sales, production, procurement, and HR departments.

🔹 Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.

Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in accounting.

• Experience in manufacturing industry (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial reporting.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime / SAP / Zoho Books.

• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS reporting).

• Knowledge of financial controls and taxation laws.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Leadership and team-handling ability.
