Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Senior Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical system design, execution, and support. The role involves working on end‑to‑end electrical engineering activities, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and contributing to project delivery while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.

• Key Responsibilities Electrical Design & Engineering Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams (SLDs), and layouts.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, equipment selection, and basic protection coordination.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, IS, etc.).
• Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities at site or factory.
• Project Support Assist in planning and execution of electrical engineering tasks for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and automation teams to ensure system integration.
• Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical submittals.
• Support preparation of BOQs, technical documentation, and project reports.
• Participate in client and internal technical discussions as required.
• Quality & Collaboration Follow internal engineering standards, procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Identify design issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers or trainees when required.
• Contribute ideas for improving design efficiency and engineering practices.
• Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical design, engineering, or project execution.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.
• Working knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, electrical design software, and basic calculation tools.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and documentation practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications Experience in industries such as manufacturing, construction, power, renewables, automation, or oil & gas.
• Exposure to site execution, commissioning, or client‑facing roles.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, or industrial automation systems (if applicable).
• Master’s degree or professional certification (added advantage).
