Job Description:
- Oncology Nurse must possess the goal of helping patients overcome health care system barriers and facilitate timely access to centre based services.
- Meet and interact with patients and their families to discover, define, act on and/or report causes of health problems.
- Demonstrated excellence in nursing assessment, treatment planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with change within the unstructured nature of health coaching and remain focused and perform other related work as required.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare team.
- Ensuring OT sterility, safety and infection control
- Handling OT supplies, equipment and inventory
- Managing emergency situations like code blues in OT.
- Maintaining records, reports and quality checks.
