Technical Engineer

Job Summary:

The CCTV Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring CCTV systems to ensure proper security surveillance. The role involves supporting security operations by ensuring all cameras and recording systems function effectively.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment.
• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage for security purposes.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in surveillance systems.
• Ensure cameras, storage devices, and network connections are functioning properly.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and system performance.
• Coordinate with IT and security teams for system upgrades or issues.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and provide video evidence when required.
• Conduct periodic inspections of CCTV systems.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR configuration, and IP cameras.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, LAN connections).
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail while monitoring surveillance footage.
• Ability to work with electrical wiring and security equipment.
• Basic computer skills.

Qualifications :

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Networking (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation or monitoring.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance technology.
