Visa Counsellor

Job Summary:

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Visa Counsellors to join our immigration and overseas education team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the complete visa process — from counselling and documentation to application submission and follow-ups.

Freshers will receive training and mentorship, while experienced candidates will handle independent client cases and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional counselling to clients regarding study, work, and visitor visa options for countries like Canada, UK, Australia, USA, and Europe.
• Handle inbound and outbound client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Guide clients about eligibility criteria, required documentation, and visa application procedures.
• Assist in preparing, checking, and verifying documents such as financials, academic records, and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all clients in CRM or Excel.
• Coordinate with the telecalling, filing, and admission teams for smooth case processing.
• Stay updated with the latest immigration laws, embassy guidelines, and visa requirements.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to clients regarding their application status.
• Achieve assigned counselling and conversion targets within timelines.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Skills & Qualities Required:.

• Strong presentation, convincing, and customer-handling ability.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Positive attitude, confidence, and teamwork spirit.
• Willingness to learn new visa rules and procedures (for freshers).
• Experience with visa portals (VFS, CIC, ImmiAccount, UKVI) and CRM tools (for experienced candidates).

Experience Required:

• Freshers: Will be trained and supported during the initial learning period.
• Experienced : Should have hands-on experience with visa counselling, filing, or documentation for study/work/visitor visas.

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Courses or certifications in counselling, communication, or international education are an advantage.
