Account Assistant

Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with working knowledge of Tally to support day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, handling billing, and supporting compliance-related tasks.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain books of accounts using Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
• Record day-to-day financial transactions
• Prepare sales and purchase entries
• Handle invoicing, billing, and receipts
• Maintain bank entries and assist in bank reconciliation
• Assist in GST-related work such as data entry and basic returns
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounts records
• Coordinate with senior accountant or auditor when required
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Graduate or Diploma in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant (preferred)
• Good working knowledge of Tally
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
