Account Executive (Accounting)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Accountant to manage the financial health of our construction projects. You will be the bridge between the field operations and the back office, ensuring every nail and hour of labor is accounted for. The ideal candidate isn't just "good" at Excel—they thrive on building models that make data clear and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

• Job Costing & Analysis: Track project expenses against budgets and provide weekly reports on variances.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage subcontractor invoices, ensure timely payments, and oversee the billing process
• Compliance & Risk: Collect and track certificates of insurance (COI) and lien waivers from vendors and subcontractors.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including WIP (Work-In-Progress) reports.
• Payroll: Process or oversee weekly payroll for field crews, ensuring correct prevailing wage or union allocations where applicable.
