Account Executive (Accounting)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Accountant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting operations. The role involves supporting day-to-day financial activities, maintaining accurate records, assisting with statutory compliance, and ensuring timely reporting in coordination with senior accounts personnel.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and vouchers
• Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately in accounting software
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Support GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, expenses, and statutory records
• Assist in audit preparations and coordinate with auditors when required
• Monitor expenses and support cost control activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
• Preferred SkillsExperience in manufacturing, trading, or services industry
• Exposure to audits and compliance documentation
• Basic knowledge of income tax returns and filings
