Account Executive (Accounting)

Functional Responsibilities :



• Maintain books of accounts including ledger updates, vouchers, receipts, payments, and financial registers.

• Prepare and process invoices, vendor payments, bills, reimbursements, and petty cash statements.

• Maintain financial records for training programs, fellowships, community engagement projects, and governance research

initiatives.

• Manage payroll support, attendance data coordination, and statutory deductions (EPF/ESI/TDS where applicable).

• Support budgeting, fund allocation, and expenditure mapping across GPAC’s social‑development sectors (health, education,

livelihoods, youth programs).

• Coordinate with external auditors, CA firms, and consultants for monthly/annual audits.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.

• Assist departments with financial documentation for project proposals, reports, and donor-related activities.

• Maintain secure digital and physical records of all financial documents.

Required Knowledge & Experience :

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, accounting software, GST/TDS basics, and invoice management.

• Experience handling multiple project accounts, especially in social-impact or nonprofit environments (preferred).

• Knowledge of statutory compliance and financial documentation.

• Strong understanding of record maintenance and audit preparation.
