Account Manager

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Manage and review budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning
• Monitor property-level accounting and ensure accurate lease and rent accounting
• Coordinate with property managers to ensure proper documentation and financial controls
• Handle statutory compliance including tax filings, GST, TDS, and audits
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

• CA / CPA / CMA preferred (or in progress)
• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Prior experience in the real estate or property management industry strongly preferred
• Proficient in accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks, or Tally
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
