Account Manager

📘 Financial Transactions & Accounting:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally/ERP or other accounting software.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
• Manage hotel-related income and expense entries (room revenue, food & beverage, banquets, etc.)

🧾 Accounts Payable / Receivable:

• Process vendor bills, verify invoices, and manage timely payments.
• Raise customer invoices and follow up for payments.
• Reconcile receivables/payables with ledgers and statements.

📅 Bank & Cash Management:

• Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash/credit card collections with POS.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Handle petty cash and maintain expense records.

💼 Taxation & Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT returns.
• Ensure compliance with relevant hotel industry-specific tax rules and government regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audits.

📊 Reporting & MIS:

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Support in budgeting and cost control.

📌 Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian tax laws.
• Experience with hotel management software (like IDS, Opera, or eZee) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting systems.
• Eye for detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
