Job Description
- Job Costing & Budget Monitoring: Break down costs by category (labor, materials, equipment) and track actual expenditures against the original project budget to identify variances early.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Review subcontractor payment applications, verify work completion, and track lien waivers to protect the business from legal liability.
- Cash Flow & Loan Draws: Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and prepare monthly loan draw requests or fund disbursement reports for lenders and stakeholders.
- Contract & Change Order Oversight: Monitor project contracts and track change orders to ensure any shifts in scope are properly authorized and reflected in the financial plan.
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Indian tax laws including GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on contractor payments.
- On-Site Financial Controls: Conduct occasional site visits for on-ground verification of material stock (e.g., cement, steel) and manage petty cash for immediate site needs.
