Job Description

Job Summary:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in bookkeeping, GST compliance, and financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Accounting & Bookkeeping


  • Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records.
  • Record purchase, sales, receipts, and payments in accounting software.
  • Prepare and maintain journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.


2. Accounts Payable & Receivable


  • Manage vendor payments and invoices.
  • Track accounts receivable and follow up for collections.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly.


3. Bank & Cash Reconciliation


  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor company cash flow and maintain cash records.


4. Taxation & Compliance


  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
  • Assist in TDS calculations and filings.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory (ESI, PF, PT filings) and regulatory requirements.


5. Financial Reporting


  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Support management with financial data and analysis.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.


6. Documentation & Record Keeping


  • Maintain proper financial files and records.
  • Ensure all accounting documents are accurate and audit-ready.


7. Payroll Processing


  • Collecting Employee Data.
  • Salary Calculation.
  • Salary Disbursements.
  • Payslip Generation.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Accounting / Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic tax regulations


Required Skills:


  • Experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills
