Accountant

Job Summary:The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial health through accurate accounting practices.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update financial records (ledger, journals, invoices)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures
• Conduct audits and support external auditors
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
