Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping for our invoice discounting platform, ensuring timely and accurate financial records, investor/vendor reconciliations, and full compliance with statutory requirements including GST, PF, ESI, and TDS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, compliance, and familiarity with digital financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts related to invoice discounting transactions.
• Reconcile investor pay-ins, vendor payouts, platform fees, and interest earned.
• Track and manage receivables and payables from invoice maturity to settlement.
• Handle monthly GST filings, including reconciliation of input/output GST.
• Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESI, and TDS payments and returns.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, financial statements, and audit documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors, CA firms, and tax consultants.
• Assist in automating and streamlining accounting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory requirements.
• Coordination of end to end office administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CMA Inter preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in accounting with hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, PF & ESI compliances.
• Prior experience in NBFC, fintech, or invoice discounting platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RBI/NBFC compliance reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP or API-based finance systems.
• Knowledge of SEBI or MCA compliance frameworks (if applicable).
