Job Description

Finance & Accounts Manager (Exports & Operations)Role OverviewAs the Finance & Accounts Manager at ODOD Group, you will be the backbone of our financial health. You will oversee everything from daily bookkeeping and GST filings to complex export financial planning, cost-benefit analysis of contract manufacturing, and international payment reconciliation.


Key Responsibilities


1. Financial Planning & BudgetingDevelop and manage annual budgets for domestic and international market launches.

  • Perform Landed Cost Analysis (calculating the total cost of a product once it reaches a foreign port, including manufacturing, freight, insurance, and duties).
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure smooth payments to contract manufacturers and logistics partners.


2. Export & Statutory ComplianceManage GST/IGST compliance, including filing for GST refunds on exports (Lut/Refund claims).

  • Handle FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) compliance and BRC (Bank Realization Certificate) tracking for international payments.
  • Liaise with banks for AD Code registration and documentation for foreign inward remittances.


3. Accounts & BookkeepingMaintain accurate records of all transactions (Sales, Purchases, Expenses) using Tally or Zoho Books.

  • Oversee Accounts Payable (paying manufacturers/suppliers) and Accounts Receivable (collecting from distributors).
  • Monthly bank reconciliations and preparation of P&L statements and Balance Sheets.


4. Strategic Decision Support Analyze profit margins per SKU and per region (e.g., comparing margins in Dubai vs. Shimla).

  • Provide financial data to help decide between air freight (speed) vs. sea freight (cost-saving).
  • Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: B.Com/M.Com/MBA in Finance. (CA-Inter or semi-qualified CA is a major plus).
  • Experience: 3–5 years in accounts, preferably in a Manufacturing or Export-oriented company.
  • Software: Expert-level knowledge of Tally Prime or Zoho Books and Advanced Excel.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of GST, TDS, and Export-Import (EXIM) financial procedures.
  • Soft Skills: High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced "startup" environment.
