Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, cost tracking, and reporting for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate accounting, compliance, and financial control across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain books of accounts and general ledger
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Track project costs, budgets, and job costing
- Process payroll and subcontractor payments
- Handle GST/VAT, tax filings, and statutory compliance
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
- Assist in audits and financial planning
