Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Accountant and Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and maintain financial documents such as invoices, bills, and receipts.
- Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records.
- Bookkeeping:
- Maintain orderly accounting filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
- Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements.
- Assist with audits and tax filings as necessary.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering and maintenance.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, scanning, and filing.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide support to management as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
