Job summary

As an AI ML Developer Engineer at JP Morgan Chase within the Corporate Technology,   our AI Engineering team, you design, implement, and optimize AI models that operate autonomously and adapt to dynamic environments. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions that drive innovation and business value.

Job responsibilities

• Design and develop AI models with agentic capabilities, focusing on autonomy and decision-making.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
• Implement machine learning algorithms and frameworks to enhance agentic behavior.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Test and validate AI systems to ensure they meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Document AI development processes and provide technical support.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in AI development, with a focus on agentic systems.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning and autonomous systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, ADK, or CrewAI.
• Exposure to cloud-based AI models (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Azure Open AI, Claude).
• Understanding of natural language processing and computer vision.
• Awareness of ethical considerations in AI development.
