Application Engineer, Spaces Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in Java or Python.
• Experience in developing and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related technologies.
• Experience with Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end technical tasks for integrating and customizing third-party applications as part of projects.
• Participate in the design and development of application solutions, often with guidance from executive engineers or technical leads, ensuring they meet business needs.
• Test and validate work to ensure quality deliverables, adhering to Google's developer artifact standards.
• Identify issues or ambiguities in defined requirements, propose solutions, and help the team course-correct by recommending methods or tools.
• Address escalated technical issues related to supported applications, or triage them in a timely manner.
