Job Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Experience: 3 – 8 Years

Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a sales team, developing market strategies, and building strong client relationships.
- Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets in the assigned area
- Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding dues
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
- Coordinate with marketing and other internal teams for campaigns and promotions
- Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes
- Key Skills & Requirements:Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market data and make strategic decisions
- Target-oriented with a proven track record in sales
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools
- Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
- Preferred Industry Experience:FMCG / Retail / Media / Telecom / Distribution / Stall & Counter Sales (if applicable)
