Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Experience: 3 – 8 Years

Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a sales team, developing market strategies, and building strong client relationships.

  • Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets in the assigned area
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding dues
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
  • Coordinate with marketing and other internal teams for campaigns and promotions
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes
  • Key Skills & Requirements:Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market data and make strategic decisions
  • Target-oriented with a proven track record in sales
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools
  • Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Preferred Industry Experience:FMCG / Retail / Media / Telecom / Distribution / Stall & Counter Sales (if applicable)
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Achievement of sales targets
