Job Description

ob Title: Area Sales Manager – Aftermarket (2W Spare Parts)

Location: Telangana & Andhra Pradesh

Industry: Automotive Aftermarket (2-Wheeler Spare Parts)

Experience: 5–8 years in aftermarket sales (2W/auto components preferred)

Role Objective:To drive sales growth, expand dealer network, and strengthen market presence across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh in the 2-wheeler aftermarket segment.

  • Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets in the assigned territory.
  • Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers to expand market reach.
  • Drive secondary sales by ensuring strong retailer engagement and demand generation.
  • Monitor and improve product availability, visibility, and market share.
  • Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activity, pricing, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, mechanic meets, and local campaigns.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to management.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and internal teams for order fulfillment and stock planning.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support new product launches in the territory.
  • Key Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of 2-wheeler aftermarket distribution network
  • Excellent dealer management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive secondary sales and market penetration
  • Good knowledge of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh markets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven with a result-oriented approach
  • Key KPIs:Sales target achievement (%)
  • Active dealer/distributor expansion
  • Secondary sales growth
  • Collection efficiency / DSO
  • Market share growth
  • Retail coverage & visibility
  • Preferred Profile:Experience in 2W spare parts, auto components, lubricants, or allied aftermarket products
  • Existing network in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh is a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
