Quantitative Strategists 

Quantitative Strategists work in close collaboration with portfolio managers, traders, and sales professionals to analyze portfolios, build risk management tools, and deliver client reporting solutions for a broad set of instruments across global financial markets. We develop suite of tools encompassing a host of analytics and financial models to optimize and scale day-to-day portfolio management and deliver differentiated client experience. 

Responsibilities

As a quantitative strategist your responsibilities will include 

• Working closely with portfolio managers, sales professionals and traders to build quantitative models and tools to streamline portfolio management process 
• Understanding both business and technical requirements, and ability to serve as a conduit between portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, technology and other stakeholders 
• Developing sustainable production systems, which can evolve and adapt to changes in our fast-paced, global business environment 
• Partner globally across multiple research and engineering teams to create frameworks and quantitative models which can be leveraged across businesses 

Qualifications

• Self-motivated learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong written/verbal communication skills: the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and intuitive way 
• Interest in and willing to learn financial and business concepts 
• Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment 
• Proficient in at least one programming language, and proven experience in production software development life cycle (SDLC) 
• Passion and self-motivation to deliver technology solutions in a dynamic business environment 
• Experience in data pipelines and storage technologies is a plus
