About the Role InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong expertise in SQL and IBM SPSS. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze hotel performance, support decision-making, and develop data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL.
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling using IBM SPSS (Professional or Basic versions).
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business performance reports.
• Generate dashboards and scorecards to track KPIs across hotel operations, sales, finance, and guest experience.
• Business Insights & Decision Support Identify business trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights to management to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis using internal and external datasets.
• Process Improvement Work with hotel and corporate teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
• Recommend improvements in pricing, revenue management, and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Support digital transformation and hotel automation projects with analytics.
• Cross-functional Collaboration Work with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations teams.
• Translate business needs into analytical models and measurable outcomes.
• Present findings to stakeholders in clear, concise, and visually structured formats.
• Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong command of SQL for querying and processing large datasets.
• experience with IBM SPSS for descriptive statistics, regressions, forecasting, and modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) is an advantage.
• Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in business analytics or a similar role.
• Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Experience in hospitality analytics is a plus.
