enterprise integrations in banking and financial services.   strong ownership, leadership,

and delivering reliable systems in mission-critical environments.

 

Experience in 

 

• Design and implementation of secure API and gateway solutions using IBM DataPower for a national-scale
• online payment platform.

•  Build and configure Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGW), Web Service Proxies (WSP), and XML Firewalls to

support merchant and banking integrations.

• Implement AAA security, SSL/TLS, certificates, and cryptographic objects to ensure secure payment

transactions.

• Integrate DataPower with MQ, WSRR, and BAM for enterprise-wide service management • and monitoring.

Created custom logging frameworks using log categories and log targets to improve observability and

troubleshooting.

•  Experience in supporting onboarding, certification, refunds, dispute management, and reconciliation services across

multiple banks.

•  Create and configure new Web Service Proxies, front-side handlers, and backend server definitions.

• Implement XSL transformations, AAA policies, and SSL security for transport-level protection.

•  Performed unit testing using SOAP UI and monitored services via DataPower probes.

•  Define and enforce API security policies, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys and rate-limiting.

• Integrate API Connect with IBM DataPower gateways for runtime enforcement and traffic management.

• Create and manage API products and plans, defining quotas, subscriptions, and monetization rules.

• Implemented API analytics and monitoring, tracking usage, performance, and error trends.

• Ensure APIs complied with enterprise security, performance, and compliance standards.

• Troubleshot API runtime issues and perform root cause analysis across gateway and backend layers.

• Automate operation procedures on DataPower and APIC using XML , Rest management interfaces.
