Organizational Overview:
Synchrony’s Strategic Partnerships and Agile team is an amalgamation of 4 sub verticals, SM (Supplier Management), CSS (Client Systems & Support) , OOA (Office of Agile) & SR (Strategic Relationships). Supplier Management & Strategic Relationship teams have the mission to maintain a right-sized, healthy, and dynamic portfolio of suppliers with the breadth and depth of capabilities to power Synchrony products and services while maintaining compliance with our Supplier Management program and reduce the 3rd party outsourcing risk.
Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Strategic Supplier Metrics Management, reporting to the VP, Strategic Supplier Transformation Office, supports Synchrony’s Fiserv relationship by assisting in the design, maintenance, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. This role helps gather and analyze data related to service levels, project delivery and releases, incident and change management, and produces regular reports for leadership and governance forums. The position requires working knowledge of Fiserv products, services, and contractual service levels to provide effective support. Responsible for driving process improvements, managing supplier collaboration, and ensuring efficient metrics management in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support identification and tracking of KPIs related to Fiserv services and projects
Extract, analyze, and report incident and change management data using ServiceNow and other tools.
Assist in managing project metrics to ensure timely delivery and clear communication.
Prepare data and insights for governance and supplier management meetings.
Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain SLA mapping and understand supplier impacts.
Investigate issues and recommend improvements within the Fiserv technology environment.
Use data visualization and automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to improve reporting efficiency.
Adapt to changing priorities and support evolving supplier management needs.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Technology within financial services or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Experience collaborating with large suppliers and managing supplier-related data and processes.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or equivalent incident and change management tools.
Understanding of Agile principles and basic performance metrics.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge of Fiserv products and services.
Problem-solving mindset and creativity in process improvement.
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring both tactical and strategic support.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Eligibility criteria : Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Technology within financial services or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Work Timimgs: 9 AM to 5 PM EST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
