Body Shop Manager

Key Responsibilities

Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Schedule and oversee all phases of routine and preventive maintenance, and coordinate Bodyshop Repair, Insurance Claims, Routine Service, and troubleshooting to minimize vehicle downtime. Conduct routine services, including oil changes, tire rotations, Battery, brake checks, and fluid checks. Create and implement strategic preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime and minimize unexpected breakdowns.

Parts & Inventory Management: Maintain and manage the inventory of repair parts and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs. 

Budget & Cost Control: Monitor fleet expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure the overall cost-effectiveness of the fleet management system. 

Vendor & Shop Management: Develop and maintain good relationships with external repair shops and vendors, and oversee outsourced repairs. Source, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with parts suppliers and service providers. 

Data Analysis & Invoices: Interpret system data, analyze fleet performance, and provide reports to upper management to identify areas for improvement. Follow-up timely billing from vendors, and Payment Tracker.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, often using fleet management software

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of vehicle equipment and systems. 

Leadership & Management: Ability to lead and develop a team of technicians. 

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find solutions. 

Organizational & Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage complex operations and interact with various departments and vendors. 

Computer & Software Skills: Proficiency in fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and other relevant tools for monitoring and data analysis

Education: High school diploma or GED is a typical requirement. 

Experience: Minimum 5 Year Experience in any Car Rental Company or any Workshop as A Bodyshop Manager . 

Other: A valid driver's license is typically required. to justified the issues.

Language - Kannada, English, Hindi

Valid Driver License 

Having knowledge to take vehicle road test and who can justify the issue.
