We are seeking an experienced Payments Business Analyst to join our banking technology team. The role focuses on analysis and delivery of payment solutions within a regulated banking environment. The ideal candidate will have around 4 years of experience in banking projects, strong payments domain knowledge, and hands-on exposure to payment system - preferably Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) experience being a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Work closely with business, operations, compliance, and IT teams to gather and analyze payment requirements Interpret Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), elicit Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and document process flows aligned with bank standards Analyze end-to-end banking payment processes including initiation, validation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation Support implementation and enhancement of payment platforms integrated with core banking systems and other auxiliary applications Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations, internal controls, audit, and risk requirements Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), including test scenario preparation, execution, and defect management Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, execution, and defect management Act as a liaison between business users, operations and IT teams Assist in production support, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a banking environment Strong domain knowledge of payments and transaction banking Excellent understanding of banking processes, controls, and regulatory requirements Strong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process maps) Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Experience Experience with Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) Exposure to payment schemes such as Domestic RTGS and SWIFT Prior experience working with large enterprise banks or financial institutions Location Requirement Candidate must be based in Hyderabad, India, or willing to work from Hyderabad
