Business Data Analyst (Insurance)

Coforge is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support our enterprise data initiatives. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with digital product managers, data engineers, and QA analysts to translate business requirements into system specifications and ensure that data transformation efforts align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Support data transformation and integration efforts across insurance domains.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across systems and processes.
• Drive process improvements and support Agile delivery practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support testing, validation, and user acceptance processes.
• Maintain documentation standards and provide customer support as needed.

Required Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in business systems analysis, within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domains: underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and finance.
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse models.
• Expertise in data analysis, Agile methodology, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Solid grasp of business analysis techniques and tools.
