Job Description

A Business Development Associate (BDA) drives company growth by acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and increasing sales through lead generation, market research, and pitching products or services. They are typically entry-level, performance-driven roles focused on hitting targets via outreach, CRM management, and negotiations. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential clients using tools like LinkedIn and CRM systems to build a sales pipeline.
  • Client Outreach & Sales: Initiating contact through cold calls, emails, and social media, as well as conducting presentations or demonstrations.
  • Relationship Management: Building rapport with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring competitor activities and industry trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Reporting: Tracking KPIs, such as conversion rates and sales metrics, to report progress to management. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for pitching products.
  • Sales Focus: Proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.
  • Education: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
