Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Business Development Manager

1.   Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and generate new business leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, and site visits
  • Target corporates, residential communities, commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, and industries
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with qualified prospects

2. Client Meetings & Requirement Understanding

  • Schedule and attend client meetings (online & in-person)
  • Understand client requirements related to facility management, housekeeping, manpower, HR, material supply, or integrated services
  • Conduct site visits to assess scope of work when required

3. Proposal & Presentation Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare:
  • Service proposals
  • Costing & quotations
  • Presentations and capability decks
  • Explain company services, value proposition, and service models clearly to clients

4. Sales Closure & Revenue Generation

  • Follow up consistently to close deals
  • Negotiate commercials within approved limits
  • Achieve monthly / quarterly sales targets

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
  • Act as a single point of contact during onboarding phase
  • Ensure smooth handover to operations team post-closure

6. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitors, market trends, and pricing benchmarks
  • Share market feedback with management
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, lead status, and conversion data

7. Coordination & Internal Communication

  • Coordinate with:
  • Operations team for feasibility
  • Finance for pricing & billing clarity
  • HR for manpower-related proposals
  • Ensure commitments made to clients are realistic and approved


Key Skills Required

  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Convincing and negotiation ability
  • Client-handling and relationship-building skills
  • Basic knowledge of facility services / housekeeping manpower / B2B services (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, CRM (if any)
