Job Description

  • Identifying and Qualifying Leads:
  • This includes researching potential clients, generating leads through various channels (networking, cold calling, online research), and assessing their needs and suitability. 
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships:
  • BDEs cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact and fostering long-term partnerships. 
  • Developing and Executing Sales Strategies:
  • This involves creating and implementing plans to achieve sales targets, including negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms. 
  • Conducting Market Research:
  • BDEs analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to inform their sales approach and identify new opportunities. 
  • Presenting Solutions and Proposals:
  • They prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, showcasing the value of the company's products or services. 
  • Collaborating with Internal Teams:
  • BDEs work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives. 
  • Tracking and Reporting:
  • They monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to management. 
  • Representing the Company:
  • BDEs often represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. 
  • Negotiating Contracts:
  • They negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company. 
  • Understanding Products and Services:
  • BDEs need a deep understanding of the company's offerings to effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
