Job Description

Objective of the Role:

We are looking for high-energy hustlers and go-getters to drive our next phase of growth. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and ensuring seamless client onboarding to the Apna platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and acquire new SMB customers through on-ground "hunting" activities, including cold calling and physical meetings.
  • Sales Execution: Conduct 10–15 daily in-person meetings with HR heads or business decision-makers to pitch Apna's hiring solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client business requirements and sell tailored recruitment solutions that drive revenue growth.
  • Onboarding & Retention: Manage the complete onboarding process, helping clients post their first job and ensuring they derive immediate value from the platform.
  • CRM Management: Log all client interactions and meetings in real-time using CRM tools to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the Apna brand in your region, enhancing visibility through collateral distribution and market networking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
  • Experience: 0–6 years of experience; freshers with high energy are welcome. Preference for experience in HRTech, BFSI, or high-volume acquisition roles.
  • Communication: Proficiency in English and at least one local language to effectively navigate diverse client hierarchies.
  • Mindset: A "street-smart" attitude with strong negotiation, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
  • Mandatory: Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for extensive city travel.
