Business Development Manager (BDM)

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business 

opportunities with Contractor, Architect and ID by maintaining relationships and 

achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong flair for 

growth and hunting opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

● Identify and target potential contractors and convert opportunities in to 

business

● Expand the company's market presence.

● Meeting monthly Revenue targets.

● Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with Painting contractors/ 

IDs/Architects

● Negotiate and close business deals by visiting sites and conducting trials.

● Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to Contractors and 

architects..

● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and 

customer satisfaction.

● Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor 

activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

● Bachelor's degree, Masters in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related 

field will be and advantage.

Experience

● Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development and sales, in 

Paint, Wall finishes, Wall putty, Wood finish segments and industry.

● Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

● Should have flair to work with IDs and Architects and foster and develop 

relationships with them.

● Should have experience of onboarding and empanelling painting contractors 

and driving business through them

Skills

● Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with strong fluency 

in the local language, along with Hindi and English.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Passionate about driving results.
