Job Description

Business Development Officer (BDO) – EV Sales Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the EV ecosystem (electric vehicles, charging solutions, fleet sales, corporate partnerships).
  • Promote and sell EV products and services to individual, corporate, and fleet customers.
  • Conduct client meetings, demos, and test drive coordination where required.
  • Build strong relationships with dealerships, fleet operators, corporate clients, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer mobility requirements and recommend suitable EV solutions.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing, financing options, and contracts to close deals.
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, service, and finance teams for smooth delivery and onboarding.
  • Track leads, update CRM systems, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Stay updated on EV technology, government policies, subsidies, and charging infrastructure.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

Key KPIs:

  • EV units sold / fleet deals closed
  • Lead conversion rate
  • Revenue achieved
  • Number of corporate/fleet accounts onboarded
  • Customer satisfaction & retention

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience in EV / automobile / energy sales
  • Understanding of EV technology, charging solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in the field
