Job Description
Business Development Officer (BDO) – EV Sales Industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the EV ecosystem (electric vehicles, charging solutions, fleet sales, corporate partnerships).
- Promote and sell EV products and services to individual, corporate, and fleet customers.
- Conduct client meetings, demos, and test drive coordination where required.
- Build strong relationships with dealerships, fleet operators, corporate clients, and channel partners.
- Understand customer mobility requirements and recommend suitable EV solutions.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, financing options, and contracts to close deals.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, service, and finance teams for smooth delivery and onboarding.
- Track leads, update CRM systems, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Stay updated on EV technology, government policies, subsidies, and charging infrastructure.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Key KPIs:
- EV units sold / fleet deals closed
- Lead conversion rate
- Revenue achieved
- Number of corporate/fleet accounts onboarded
- Customer satisfaction & retention
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in EV / automobile / energy sales
- Understanding of EV technology, charging solutions
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel and work in the field
